This contest is open only to residents of India, who are 18 years or older.
Your entry should be a RIA (Rich Internet Application) using Adobe Flash Platform technologies -Flex / Flash / AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime).
The entry should not have any server side / server configuration dependencies, but you are free to use mocked up data or existing APIs or platforms like flickr, YouTube, Amazon, facebook etc. Applications requiring a server setup will not be evaluated.
Use of any copyrighted or licensed components which the contestant does not have explicit permission to use will result in disqualification and also may result in legal action.
Your entry should reach us on or before 26th November 2008, 23:59:59 [All the steps below are mandatory]
You may host your completed Flex/Flash application and send us the URL. For AIR apps, please give us the download location for the .AIR file. In case you couldn’t find hosting, upload your application binaries (SWF/.AIR file, assets and any mocked up data) to Adobe Share (http://share.adobe.com), copy the URL and send it to riaevent@adobe.com
Upload your source code (with all assets, data files and dependent files) and a readme.txt as .ZIP file to Adobe Share and send it to riaevent@adobe.com.
The readme.txt should contain the following information:
Brief description about the application
Features
Details of any open-source libraries used along with the nature of license of each
Details of any copyrighted or licensed components used along with permissions to use them
Team information
You will be intimated by email if your entry has been shortlisted. You will receive an invitation from Team Adobe for the event on 29th November.
If invited, both team members are required to be present at the venue on Nov 29th for evaluation.
If invited, you must carry the source code & application binaries (CD / DVD / Memory Stick / Laptop / Desktop – if you can carry one ?)
If invited, the team must present their application to a preliminary judge panel to qualify for the finals.
Finalists are required to do a 5 minute demo of their application on stage.
Applications will be judged based on (but not limited to) the following broad parameters in no specific order.

User experience
Innovation & Creativity
Originality
Feature richness
The decision of Adobe and the judges will be final and binding.
The results will be announced at the valedictory function on 29th November evening. If you are a winner, you are required to be present at the venue for the same to collect your prizes.
Adobe reserves the right to modify the prizes at any point in time should the applications be not up to the expectation of judge panel.
The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or equivalent.
